Great Quality They Never Fall Out My Ear
Kris· Review provided by Google · August 22, 2024
I've been using the Apple AirPods (3rd Generation) for about a week now, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations in several ways. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience:

Fit and Comfort
One of the standout features for me is the fit. These AirPods never fall out of my ears, even during intense activities like running or working out. The design is more ergonomic compared to previous models, and the shorter stems make them less obtrusive¹.

Sound Quality
The sound quality is impressive, with a notable improvement in bass depth and clarity. The Adaptive EQ adjusts the sound in real-time based on the shape of your ear, providing a balanced and immersive listening experience². Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking adds a new dimension to music and movies, making it feel like the sound is coming from all around you³.

Battery Life
Battery life is solid, offering up to 6 hours of listening time on a single charge and up to 30 hours with the MagSafe charging case². The case itself is compact and supports wireless charging, which is a convenient feature.

Durability
These AirPods are IPX4-rated, meaning they are resistant to sweat and water. This makes them a great choice for workouts and outdoor activities³.

Connectivity
Pairing with Apple devices is seamless, thanks to the H1 chip. The connection is stable, and switching between devices is effortless. Hands-free Siri is a nice touch, allowing you to control your music and get information without touching your phone².

Downsides
While the open-ear design is comfortable, it doesn’t provide much noise isolation. This can be a downside if you’re in a noisy environment. Additionally, some features are limited to Apple devices, so Android users might not get the full experience³.

Overall, the Apple AirPods (3rd Generation) are a fantastic upgrade, especially if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem. They offer great sound quality, a comfortable fit, and useful features that enhance the overall listening experience. If you’re looking for reliable and high-quality wireless earbuds, these are definitely worth considering.
Very disappointed for the price I paid

For how I paid for this product I am extremely disappointed with Apple. I’ve used much cheaper earphones with a better experience. I decided to go for these because I thought I would get even better quality.

Firstly, the design of the AirPod is too bulky/chunky (the part you insert in the ear) does not sit in my ear properly. It constantly almost falls off. I acknowledge that this might be a “me” issue, in that my ears aren’t compatible.

Secondly, the “pause” only works when you remove the entire AirPod from your ear, the ‘tap’ is more like a ‘hold’.

Thirdly, the quality of the microphone is very poor and I am extremely dissatisfied with that after paying a couple of thousand rands.

Lastly, when I’m on a call, the microphone constantly cuts off/break in the sound. So the person on the other side hears some of what I say.

I cannot fault the output of the sound, when listening to music/voicenote, it’s perfect. Also, the battery life is fair.

Ultimately, I’m appalled by the quality of this product, especially given the price. If you charge this much, at the very least, bring along the quality.

THIS SELLER IS CLEARLY A SCAMMER! I purchased these AirPods as a Christmas gift, but they arrived with damaged packaging. It's evident that people might collect boxes, and presenting a gift in such condition is unacceptable. Consequently, I returned the item since I no longer needed it and had already acquired a replacement gift due to urgency. To my astonishment, they declined the return, alleging an incorrect serial number, which is different from the one they dispatched. It appears there is an inventory problem on their end during product dispatch, yet I'm compelled to accept a product I no longer require. They assert they can't delve further into the matter, offering a stupid partial refund. Consequently, Lazada's protection seems worthless; there is no actual safeguard. This is an outright scam—providing a damaged item and coercing consumers to accept it due to an inventory error that originated with them. There's no one else to contact besides customer service, and even the seller remains unresponsive. I intend to report this incident to the police. Do contact me if you intend to resolve this amicably, as i have exhausted all options trying to reach out.
Latest and greatest didn’t pay off

The ear piece is much larger and more oval than the originals. I used the gen 1/2 for many years and I loved them. My gen 1s broke so I was using my husbands gen 2 and I wanted to buy him new ones so I got these but they fall out of his ears when exercising and are not comfortable. His ears are definitely at least average sized. Much bigger than mine. I can barely get these in my ear at all. If I do then I am 100 percent honed into the fact that they are in my ears. The other gen’s were hardly noticeable. I do appreciate the sleeker design and better sound/battery life (gave the extra star for that) but I’ll be returning these and getting a new pair of gen 2’s. I’ve heard great things about the pros but my husband hates rubbery ends on headphones and they are not my preference either so that looks like the older model is the only option. My husband is not an Apple guy. But he loves their wireless headphones the best so it was really disappointing that these were so uncomfortable.
