I can't get enough of this candle. The scent is amazing, just like the smell of a wood burning fireplace. There's no fancy added scents, just pure, beautiful burning wood that evokes feelings of a cozy warm cabin during a snow storm. And the scent is amazingly strong and fills my entire apartment with just the one candle burning. The jar does develop a bit of soot as the wax burns down but there's never any exterior mess. The shape of the jar is elegant and looks great on a table. My favorite part of the candle is the wick. It's amazing and brings the whole thing to another level. It spans a decent part of the middle of the candle and crackles like a fireplace does. Paired with the scent, it's an amazing sensory experience. The candle lasts forever too, which is great because I can't get enough of this candle.

Two out of the four woodwick candles I purchased were shattered! They were shipped in separate packages, but were NOT wrapped well & some only had the large green balloon-type packaging with no individual wrapping at all! The same thing happened in another recent order. I have been buying these candles on-line for several months now & the first few orders were wrapped perfectly, with the sticky bubble wrap on each candle & extra packaging in between them, so I know it can be done! Whoever is working in your shipping department needs to be trained on protecting these fragile items. So I now have to pack up this broken glass, which is quite dangerous, & return it to my local store for a refund. I love the woodwick candles so much, but unfortunately I will no longer be able to enjoy them, as I am disabled & cannot shop in-store anymore!

This is one of Woodwick's better scents. It is very fragrant, but not overpowering. However, as a good fragrance, This scent sells out fast, so when I see it I buy. I'd rather the tall large hourglass 21oz, as it's more economical for longer burn time. This shape although the same number of ounces burns very fast, because the woodwick is about 4" long. Makes a great gift too.

Bought several of these candles in Fireside over the holidays. Everyone who came into our home remarked on the amazing smell of our home. Said it smelled so warm and cozy. And this candle burned night after night and lasted for over a week being burned for many hours each day. Just do yourself a favor a buy a wood wick candle and try fireside, it’s my family’s favorite.
